You never want to say that you have a master plan. Or if you do, you at least have back-up plans if that master plan fails. I try to stay away from the master plan thing. I try to look for two or three plans on go on with that. I never want to sell myself short on what I think I will be doing with my life. I plan on going for my first plan and then if that works the back-up plans follow.
Reason why I think about this because I always go through the "Master Plan" method. Often finding myself failing miserably and trying to recover which usually would take about 2 to 3 months. Usually during those months I would try to find a job, sleep, eat, and be lazy at my parents house (How I actually miss those days.)
Now I have a job which makes things easier to go through the plans that I have set for me. If one plan fails, I have my job to fall back on in the meantime.
I know people want to know about my "plans". Only my friends that I speak with on a daily basis know about my objectives. When I am able to actually go through with these said plans, I will let the world know. As of now, I am living my life, having as much fun as I can before I truly become an adult, and trying to execute The Plan as best as I know how to do it...

Calvin's Got a Job!
My name isn't Calvin or anything but yes I do have a job finally. I started working at a law firm as a service tech. Today was my second day. It isn't too difficult or anything, well at least from what I've seen. It'll definitely be a transition from my normal life of sleeping til 11am, eating, and then go back to sleep for a few. I need the busyness in my life. Waking up earlier and going to sleep earlier than I usually do. As of now I am only working from 9 to 1 but I am in training to take over my roommate's job.
So, what is this saying about my footy future. It doesn't say too much. Obviously this season is lost. However I am not going to say never to this footy thing. I feel like I have 8 to 9 more solid years left in me. I know that I can't keep on jumping from here to there but I think I needed to get out of New Zealand while I could, because I didn't have the money and I didn't want to sit around and do nothing to help me get a job when I get back. I enjoyed it and if I had my preference, I would have liked to stay albeit having a job but it was something I needed to do. It'll be nice to have solid job experience while I can and if a team from here or abroad comes calling then I hope to be ready. I've started running a couple of days ago and I hope to get back into some great fitness. I had fun while I could but now it's time to get back to work. Literally...

Definitely Not a Fan of This Monday
Even though I should not be having any gripes about Mondays, since I don't really work at this point in time. I am really not happy at the moment about this one because I was awaken at around 7:30am when I at least usually wake up around 9am. I can't seem to get back to sleep either. I guess I deserve it because of me not having to wake up early at all.
Soccer has been going. We tied East Coast Bays a couple of weeks ago 0-0 and this weekend we scored a 4-nil victory against Manurewa. It is slowly but surely coming together. We complain about our performances not being good enough but hey we are still winning games and that is all you want when you have teams that aren't as talented but work their asses off to try and frustrate us. We just need to make sure that we do the job no matter how ugly.
I wouldn't say that I am not feeling anything but I am not thinking of a lot right now. Lots have been going on in the background that could potentially irk me but I try not to sweat this sort of stuff right now. Even though it seems that nothing as been going right in the two months that I have been here. The only thing that has seemed to improve is my footy which I feel that I am playing well in.
Don't know how I am doing it though. I feel distracted during training and during the days where I have nothing else to do but thing. I guess once I get the jersey on and walk out on the pitch, nothing else matters, empty promises are erased for those 90 minutes until that final whistle is blown. Then I can hear (because I am not listening anymore) about the same stuff how everything is going to change.
I am working on finding a job for myself but of course it hasn't been too successful as I would like it to be. It seems that no one is going to hire someone who has under two months left on their visa. Fair enough on them. I cannot blame them too much. So I will continue to try and work things out on my own and if it doesn't work out.
Then I guess I will have to put on my shades and shorts and enjoy another summer...

Laying in My Cave. Thinking of a Resolution. Or Maybe not.
It is better than going downstairs and pestering my parents night and day. I feel like if I came down here and laid down on the couch then I would do much more harm than doing it from upstairs in my own room, in my own domain where I can do whatever I want. Plus they don't know that I am just laying in my room (well they might now). I think about a lot of things and I think about what resolutions that I should think of. I thought and thought and thought. After all this thinking I've came up with this solution.
What makes you think next year is going to be your year?
Yeah, It is a new year and of course you want to do things different this year than the last. But after the year close we say the same ole thing. "Next year is going to be my year!" I've seen it time after time after time. There are probably only a few times in your life where anyone has had an extraordinary year from start to finish. I'm no longer going to see it like that. I am going to live every day as it is my last. You should make long term plans, I agree with that but my life has been full of changes that I just need to calm down and figure out exactly what I'm going to do. (It would be so easy if I had a suga mama instead, that would be nice)
So how about just doing what you need to to have a productive year. Maybe you need to make a resolution here or there. I don't feel the need to tell everybody my resolutions because they are my personal choices and probably are too personal for people to understand, Plus I don't have resolutions really. Just to find a job and not get on facebook chat so much because I can have better conversations talking to myself. Who wants to talk to somebody who is always in his room anyways? I don't think there are many people. As we got one more full day before this decade closes, I would like for you to go to your love ones and other special people, get them a hug or if they aren't within seeing distances tell them how much you mean to them. Because I don't think we'll all make another decade. 2k12 baby. hahahaha
I'm just kidding. Happy New Years and get in trouble tomorrow night. Not too much tho.
